Engagement & Fee Structure
Initial Engagement Retainer: Starting at $2,500.
The initial retainer secures your engagement with Obsidian Group and allows us to establish your acquisition objectives, define search parameters, and begin identifying and evaluating appropriate opportunities.
Customized Professional Fees
Additional professional fees may apply based on the asset, acquisition value, sourcing difficulty, complexity, negotiation requirements, due diligence, and level of involvement required.
Where applicable, success or acquisition fees may be established based on the specific opportunity and scope of representation. All applicable fees will be clearly outlined and agreed up before additional services begin.
Complex & Specialized Acquisitions
Highly specialized, confidential, time-sensitive, or multi-party acquisition are structured individually based on the nature and demand of the assignment.
Third-Party Expenses
Approved third-party expenses, including vendors, professional services, inspections, travel, shipping, research, and other direct costs, are separate from Obsidian Group’s professional fees and will be communicated transparently.
